What is a digital permit book?
A digital permit book is a fleet document system that replaces the repeated printing, sorting and hand-delivery involved in a paper truck binder. Office staff keep documents organized in a central dashboard, connect them with the correct driver or vehicle and make assigned copies available through a mobile app.
It is more than a folder of PDFs. The useful part is the workflow: the office knows which records are missing or nearing expiration, while a driver has a focused view of the documents assigned to their truck and trailer.

When a document changes, the office replaces it in the same system. The driver app syncs the assigned version when the phone has an internet connection.

Successfully synced documents remain available offline.
Truck routes do not guarantee cellular service. Assigned PDFs and images that successfully download while the phone is online remain in the app’s private storage for offline access.
Drivers should open the app while connected after new or updated files are assigned. If a document has never completed its download, the app identifies that it is not available offline.
